Go Devils!!

If you know anything about our family you know everything is centered around ASU football games. Weddings are planned around games (just ask Stacey) as are any other major functions. Cecelia even knew not to be born on a Saturday. Such a good girl!

With ASU being such a big part of our life I found it only right that my newest family member also start getting into the spirit! Charlie welcome to the world of ASU!!!

Going Back To The 90's!!

In honor of Courtney's 9/9/09 birthday she decided to have a 90's themed party. In order to attend her party everyone had to dress up like a person/character from the 90's. Boy was it fun to see what people picked....

There was even a costume contest and Peg Bundy, Bananas in Pajamas, and Bob the Builder won! Congrats everyone!!! You guys look great!!

Jessie (Alyssa) from Saved by The Bell took some time off from the Malibu Beach Club to celebrate with Courtney. Jessie I'm so glad you found some time to attend. You are always complaining that there is NEVER ANY TIME!! I'm so excited!! : )

Can he build it??? Yes he CAN!!! Bob the Builder and Wendy made quite an impression! I have already asked Bob to come back to the house to work on a few projects!!

Even Aunt Arlinda who had to work that evening came to the party dressed up! She had to be one of my favorites! She was Kerri Strug from the 1996 Olypmics!! Buffy tried to carry her due to the ankle injury!! So creative Aunt Arlinda! You rock!!!

Yes, I have 90210 dolls and througout the night people posed them to do all kinds of crazy things. Apparently, Brandon and Dylan are gay. I was not aware of that but I won't judge them and I love them all the same! They also appear to like veggies.....

Vacation....heck no....Staycation!!!!

To celebrate Courtney's 29th Birthday her Cousin's and Sister's decided to do a midweek STAYCATION! We picked the Squaw Peak Hilton as our staycation destination. It was a beautiful hotel and we had a pool right in front of our room! It was the PERFECT location!!

We arrived Tuesday night so that we had the whole day on Wednesday to not only celebrate Courtney's actual birthday but to get all the pool time in that we could. Our plan was to soak up the sun and just realx! Gosh, I wish I could do this every Wednesday!!

Of course we had to have some decorations for the room to celebrate the reason we all gathered. Happy Birthday Courtney!!

It's not a party until there is some dancing. Steph and Court were rocking out to Miley's Party in the USA!!!

After some dinner on Tuesday night we decided to go for an evening swim. The first of many.

After we all went swimming we decided to play The Twilight game that Courtney was given by one of her co-workers. Needless to say the game was fun because it was Twilight but if you know anything about my obessed sister she won the game because she knows EVERY detail of the damn movie!! If you look at my photo below I was pouting because I knew Court would win but it was her birthday so it was only fair.

Steph tried to take this photo but she cut herself out. Sorry Steph. Alyssa and Stacey look good so great job capturing them!

Wednesday was Courtney's actual birthday. It was 9-9-09!! What a day to celebrate!! Happy 29th Birthday Courtney!!!

Alyssa enjoying the lazy river. The lazy river was awesome because it was not crowded so you could just float and relax. I fell alseep at one point on my tube. It was great! I wonder if I could put a lazy river in my backyard????

The Hilton has a lazy river and a water slide so there was something to entertain everyone.

On a break from the sun we headed back to the room for some food and more beer. BTW the pink cover-ups were not planned.

Here we are before we head back outside to soak up some more sun. Yes, I think we spent about 10 hours outside!! Skin cancer???? What is that??? J/K Mom and Dad we used plenty of sun block!! Stephanie and Alyssa enjoying the view of everyone as they come down the slide.

So I found a place on the stairs that I could capture everyone as they came down the slide. Here is Stacey with a kind of scared look on her face. Not sure what was wrong????? The slide was kind of fast maybe she was scared?? Don't worry Steph is at the bottom she will catch you!!

Before we left the water park we wanted to grab a photo. Alyssa had to leave to go to school so she is missing but we all missed her while she was gone and we limited our fun until she got back.

While we waited for Alyssa to come back we ordered a pizza and watched some TV. Stephanie and Courtney turned Stacey and I onto Glee and I think this is one of my new favorite shows. If your not watching it I highly recommend it!!Happy girls with tummy's full of pizza and beer!!

The staycation was wonderful and a great idea! Thanks Alyssa!

I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate Courtney's birthday!!
