#1 Fan!!

I'm going to start this blog by saying YES, I AM A 30+ YEAR OLD MILEY CYRUS FAN. I am not ashamed to admit it so there!!

With that being said her concert was Friday night and it was Lara, Devyn, Courtney, and I that were lucky enough to get tickets. Here we are waiting for the show to begin.

The opening band was Metro Station which actually has Miley's older brother as the lead singer. They rocked it but I think all the little kids there were not sure what to make of them. Courtney and I jammed out to them and had a lot of fun!!! SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE IT!!

The fans are not in their seats because they are too busy trying to buy $40 Miley shirts! WTF!!

Just go to Walmart and get something from her clothing line. What a rip off!!

After Metro Station performed Devyn asked if she could have a glow stick like all these other kids had. I decided I would take her to try to get one. What a freaking joke. First off they have these concession like stands with all her crap you can buy with no organized line and only four people trying to work all sides of the booth. Yeah, who the hell organized this mess??? It was a disaster!! However my sister wanted a glow stick so she was going to get one. I took $20 bucks and pushed my way up to this 12 year old girl at the front counter and asked her to buy me 2 glow sticks (Yep, that is $10 each for a damn glow stick but whatever). She turns to the guy gets me the glow sticks and we are out!! HOLLA!! Thanks little girl for helping me out!! : )

Now, we are back to our seats because the show is about to begin.....

However, before it began we had time for some picture taking so of course we had to do that. Here is Lara and Devyn waiting for Miley. Just a few more minutes.

Sisters......I wonder who is a bigger Miley fan????? I would say me but then again I don't have her posters up on the wall so I guess Courtney wins!!! HA HA HA!!!

This is just us showing that we are cool. Rockstar cool!!! It's a Party in the USA!!!

The concert began right on time and Miley rocked it!!! We stood the whole time and sang and danced to ALL her songs. Except for Lara who had lost her voice so she just lip-synched all the songs like a true rockstar!! Here is Miley on stage.Look at her rockin it!! She really had an AWESOME concert and if it's possible I think I like her even more then I did before. She performed for 90 minutes straight with only like a 4 minute costume change break. I wished it had been longer but I knew it would have to end.......

Here is Devyn with that glow stick I worked so hard to get. She loved it! Oh, yeah and the other one I got.....I kept it! I like to wear it around my house for fun! : )

The concert rocked and we all had so much fun! It was crazy though how many small kids were at this concert. I know kids love her from Disney but this was not a Hannah Montana concert. Several kids around us even fell alseep during the concert! That is crazy to me!! I mean first off it was super loud. Secondly, how can you sleep at a rock concert?? Third, these tickets weren't cheap so these little kids better wake up so their parents get their money's worth!!

Devyn was a total superstar though and stood the whole 90 minutes and danced and sang! However, once we found the car and she sat down she was out.....not sure why her arms are crossed but that is how she fell asleep!

I was thinking of stalking Miley while she tours and using Steph's cool flight benefits to try to go to the rest of her concerts but that could possibly lead to my arrest so I'm just going to enjoy the memories I have of the concert and let that get me through to the next time she is here!

Go Devils!!

If you know anything about our family you know everything is centered around ASU football games. Weddings are planned around games (just ask Stacey) as are any other major functions. Cecelia even knew not to be born on a Saturday. Such a good girl!

With ASU being such a big part of our life I found it only right that my newest family member also start getting into the spirit! Charlie welcome to the world of ASU!!!

Going Back To The 90's!!

In honor of Courtney's 9/9/09 birthday she decided to have a 90's themed party. In order to attend her party everyone had to dress up like a person/character from the 90's. Boy was it fun to see what people picked....

There was even a costume contest and Peg Bundy, Bananas in Pajamas, and Bob the Builder won! Congrats everyone!!! You guys look great!!

Jessie (Alyssa) from Saved by The Bell took some time off from the Malibu Beach Club to celebrate with Courtney. Jessie I'm so glad you found some time to attend. You are always complaining that there is NEVER ANY TIME!! I'm so excited!! : )

Adam must love Stacey to paint his face yellow and come to a party as a Banana!! This is Banana 1 and Banana 2!! In a few years we could have a bunch of little banana's running around!!

Can he build it??? Yes he CAN!!! Bob the Builder and Wendy made quite an impression! I have already asked Bob to come back to the house to work on a few projects!!

Yes, I have 90210 dolls and througout the night people posed them to do all kinds of crazy things. Apparently, Brandon and Dylan are gay. I was not aware of that but I won't judge them and I love them all the same! They also appear to like veggies.....

Vacation....heck no....Staycation!!!!

To celebrate Courtney's 29th Birthday her Cousin's and Sister's decided to do a midweek STAYCATION! We picked the Squaw Peak Hilton as our staycation destination. It was a beautiful hotel and we had a pool right in front of our room! It was the PERFECT location!!

We arrived Tuesday night so that we had the whole day on Wednesday to not only celebrate Courtney's actual birthday but to get all the pool time in that we could. Our plan was to soak up the sun and just realx! Gosh, I wish I could do this every Wednesday!!

Of course we had to have some decorations for the room to celebrate the reason we all gathered. Happy Birthday Courtney!!

It's not a party until there is some dancing. Steph and Court were rocking out to Miley's Party in the USA!!!

After some dinner on Tuesday night we decided to go for an evening swim. The first of many.

After we all went swimming we decided to play The Twilight game that Courtney was given by one of her co-workers. Needless to say the game was fun because it was Twilight but if you know anything about my obessed sister she won the game because she knows EVERY detail of the damn movie!! If you look at my photo below I was pouting because I knew Court would win but it was her birthday so it was only fair.

Steph tried to take this photo but she cut herself out. Sorry Steph. Alyssa and Stacey look good so great job capturing them!

Wednesday was Courtney's actual birthday. It was 9-9-09!! What a day to celebrate!! Happy 29th Birthday Courtney!!!

Alyssa enjoying the lazy river. The lazy river was awesome because it was not crowded so you could just float and relax. I fell alseep at one point on my tube. It was great! I wonder if I could put a lazy river in my backyard????

The Hilton has a lazy river and a water slide so there was something to entertain everyone.

On a break from the sun we headed back to the room for some food and more beer. BTW the pink cover-ups were not planned.

Here we are before we head back outside to soak up some more sun. Yes, I think we spent about 10 hours outside!! Skin cancer???? What is that??? J/K Mom and Dad we used plenty of sun block!! Stephanie and Alyssa enjoying the view of everyone as they come down the slide.

So I found a place on the stairs that I could capture everyone as they came down the slide. Here is Stacey with a kind of scared look on her face. Not sure what was wrong????? The slide was kind of fast maybe she was scared?? Don't worry Steph is at the bottom she will catch you!!

Before we left the water park we wanted to grab a photo. Alyssa had to leave to go to school so she is missing but we all missed her while she was gone and we limited our fun until she got back.

While we waited for Alyssa to come back we ordered a pizza and watched some TV. Stephanie and Courtney turned Stacey and I onto Glee and I think this is one of my new favorite shows. If your not watching it I highly recommend it!!Happy girls with tummy's full of pizza and beer!!

The staycation was wonderful and a great idea! Thanks Alyssa!

I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate Courtney's birthday!!
